In the process of this first-time fundraising effort and with feedback from industry related companies in SF, we discovered that several companies are unable to participate at the sponsorship levels originally established. We realize that the shrinking economy has affected many industries, especially construction management and architecture.
 
With that said, we have decreased the sponsorship levels significantly to increase participation. We are asking companies to consider a minimum of $1,000 to participate on a team and to receive recognition in pre- and post-promotional materials.
 
The goal of this event, more important than the fundraising itself, is to connect students to industry professionals, celebrate CCSF’s Architecture Department’s 60th anniversary, and have a successful event that draws in a hearty number of participants and spectators.
 
At the $1,000 level, we hope that you will be a part of the celebration and support CCSF Architecture students and department.  If you have thoughts or feedback in the meantime, please feel free to contact Shona at 415/239.3741.

Your Participation is Key! 

The teams met together for the first time this past Saturday at the Architectural Foundation of San Francisco, where they began conceptualizing the projects and determining directions for the competition.

Currently, outreach to top architecture and construction management firms has garnered the financial support of several companies including Plant Construction, Boston Properties, Tom Eliot and Fisch Architecture and Interior Design, and R. N. Field Construction. 

Other supporters include, AIA, West Coast Green, Turner Construction, Pollack Architecture, Duskus Design, Wes Wong, Marco Fine Furniture, Inc. and Daphne D. Light Designs.

Industry professionals Dan Gregory, Architect and former Senior Editor for Sunset Magazine, Sophie Azouaou, owner of Sophisticate Interiors and Lisa Quin, CBS-5 Host and Designer for “Evening Magazine’s IKEA $500 Challenge,” have joined our distinguished jury panel.
